this pic was taken in a thai/thay (?) village. i could see the adult women dyed their teeth in black. they believed it could make them more attractive. being a little girl, her teeth 's still WHITE! :)
a friend asked me if the vietnamese girls were beautiful... i think so; even in tribal villages where they didnt hv beautiful clothings. they're also talented in languages as well. i wonder where the villagers got educated. the hostess could even express herself well in english... while we chatted, we could at least understand what she was talking.
i stayed in a Red Zao house for one night during the trip. a canadian called chris had come to that village and taught them how to run a homestay for tourists so as to get them away from proverty.

yes ar, 佢地又友善+鍾意笑, 一笑就見到佢地d teeth 勁黑, 一入屋就請我地隊杯自製米酒... and then 影佢地啦,影完比佢地睇番自己張相, 佢地就會好大力(因佢地係farmer=大力人)咁打我膊頭, 話: 嘩,你睇我幾醜樣云云(有個同行的朋友0係識越南住過幾年,識聽小小,轉述告知), 跟著大笑... 到我地走果時, d村童就會跟住我地, 好似送我地出村咁, 有好幾次, 有成20+個靚仔跟住, 有時又故事爬我地頭, 之後又0係前面等我地...
