Photography Fever
Many of my friends know that i've got a photography fever. Since i came back from UK, I am always thinking to quit the job and go study photography in France or US. I guess it was partly inspired by a photographer I met in Scotland. Isnt it crazy, my friends?! Even my mentor was so surprised to hear that.
At the beginning, i enjoy shooting around very much. It seems like a window to me to explore the world as well as myself. I feel like seeing the world differently. Back to 18 years ago, it was the 1st time i ran into photography. I played around with my dad's Yashica FX-D, which is an old old model of film camera. It's an everything manual machine, even the focusing. Anyway, I fixed it again lately and will try to use it again haha... I did make some shots, but were quite underexposed, i would say. At that time, I also learnt of some special effects. I felt it so fun that i can still remember all those skills now =)
What do i want to do? hm... Travel photographer, wildlife, portrait, commercial, product or photography artist...? I'd like to do all, definitely! Probably, the question should be: "What can i do with it?" I have took a glance of the local photographers on the list. For sure, they owned a studio and most of them have online galleries. It's too early to say so if I'll be one of them. I am still very new. Now, various ideas flushing out in my mind all the time. I am still in search of my own way. O! But my nightmare is nothing new from me in shooting. Things which repeat themselves are boring. No one like boring. And I think the world is ever changing.
A photo is about exposure and composition. Many experienced professional photographers said the essential element for taking a good shot was their feelings or emotions for the subject. Not your equipment nor your technical knowledge. I think that it's damn very true.
Probably, one day i wouldnt be so into photography. I guess it'd be the day when i think i couldnt take any better shots.

Quote of Steve McCurry
In India, McCurry learned to watch and wait on life. "If you wait, people would forget your camera and the soul would drift up into view."
